COVID ENTRY RESTRICTIONS

I have found this website to be hugely helpful in navigating COVID entry requirements for foreign countries. Please note that this is merely a tool and restrictions are subject to change at any time.

Passport Information

Most countries require that your passport be valid for six months at your time of travel--there are some exceptions to that, so you should double check by visiting the U.S. State Department website:

https://travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/passports.html

REAL ID

For some time now, the TSA and Homeland Security have been working on standardizing ID requirements for domestic travel. Since all states have different forms of ID, it created a lot of disparities among those traveling domestically. Effective January 2018, passengers traveling domestically will need to provide a passport if they have a license from a state that is not real id compliant. For more information and to see where you stand, visit this website:

Vaccines

There are some countries for which you should explore your vaccine options. If you’re concerned about exposure, you should look through the website for the Center for Disease Control and follow their recommendations:

Travel Insurance

Keeping your trip covered in case of a medical emergency, death, or other need for cancellation/interruption is always a good idea. If this is of interest to you, please let me know and I can send out quotes for coverage.
